First off I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing. I’ve had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Appreciate it!
Hi there thank you for your feedback. Before I start my writing I always take a few minutes to just breathe deeply and clear my mind. I then open the piece of work I am currently working on and do a quick scan of what has already been written. Each day when I stop writing, I try to leave it off in a place from which I already know how I am going to continue. This way, after reading the last couple of lines I have written, I know exactly where I am heading with it. It makes starting the days writing a lot easier. I hope this has helped.
